I am having a hard time finding a 29 Outlaw for my budget which is approx 45-46k. I should be able to find a 00-02 with twin engines for this price right? Seems like alll the owners selling right now are upside down and asking a lot more than they worth...
Any suggestions?

^^^ where are you located?
I would disagree with 29KILROY: I have seen numerous boats in good condition in this price range. Problem is they sell quickly. Here are links to just a couple...

Not a 29 but close....This boat is LOADED and spotless.. Make me a decent offer.... I don't owe anything on it so I'm not upside down.

The market is still screwed up IMO. We just sold a 2006 Mini Cooper S (I know it is not a boat) with only 9500 miles (never in the rain or snow). We were not asking a dime over NADA or KBB and every time I posted it somewhere I had someone telling me I was asking too much money for it.
There was no note and we did not have to sell it, so I am not too sure everyone is upside down. More like buyers think it is still their market and the buyers think they can get something for nothing right now. If people are not forced to sell it then they will not. We had our Mini on the market for almost a year. And someone who understood the value and condition paid for it.
The market does not know if it is coming or going still. Keep looking I am sure you may find something, but it is not easy..... just may thoughts.

There is a 1999 36 outlaw here in florida where I live on boattraderonline for 39k. It seems way too good to be true to me the price is almmost scaring me. I haven't looked at it or anything like that but for the price I can only assume it will need new engines soon or something!
