Unhappy Fuel problems?

I have a 02' Baja Outlaw w/ 496Mag/HO. I think I'm having a fuel issue. The boat runs fine at idle. I can rev up no problem, but when I go under power I get on plane but the motor will break-up over 3000 rpm (like starving for fuel). I can cruise all day at that rpm. It only does when under load. It shows no codes. It ran prefect last season when I finished using. I used additive when winterizing it. Is there another fuel filter pass the water separator? Any help would be great. Want to get on the water and enjoy.

There is an inline " check valve" in the fuel vent line, usually near the fill cap..but could be near the fuel line on the tank...it is like a ball check valve..when they get dirt in them, they act just like that..you can pull them out of the line and take them apart, clean them and put them back in, not hard to do at all.
