No. I had the motor work done and before it was done I bought my 29 OL and never really tested it. I never thought it would be that fast especially with a prop shaft height of 7".

He needs him a new gps. The only way it will run that fast with that power is on the trailer going down the highway.

Maybe it has more power than I thought but if you want to find out just start asking guys located on the gulf side of Florida south of Tampa. If you would like you can PM him http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/m...1965-yaho.html

When I took him out for a test run I was driving and the regular speedo was reading 98mph. It did feel very fast but it was also very loose.

I think he lives in Cape Coral, but I know he runs up and down the gulf coast. He has it rack stored, so if anyone wants a trailer for a 272 I bet he will sell it. Also, I talked to he a couple days ago and it looks like he is now going to an xr drive, -2 imco shorty, Imco xbox, and full hdro. steering. Looking forward to seeing how it does with that setup, which is what I was going to do had I not bought my 29.

It has a stock 30 bravo. I know most of you don't believe me, but this boat is crazy fast. I just wish it would have been done before I bought my 29. If it was I don't think I would have bought the 29. wantingmore please feel free to run him if you see him. It would be nice to have someone to validate my information first hand.

Hey, I would love to run into someone off of OSO local here in clear water beach florida, I have the 27 Procharged Baja Boss, I was told the power was 730 hp. and 750 tq. However, I belive those #s are underated...This is a point and blast ride. It is a true 90 mph boat..... I am out on the water almost every weekend and run with the best of them.. I have embarrased friends with 100,000 boats. And my old 29 power quest is a slug compared to the baja. I got lucky and picked mine up for just 28K. Thanks to IndyWhsle. Thanks Mike! I love my boat.

Yeah it must be way under rated. Mine has 840 hp and 88mph is all I've gotten. I need to try a different prop though(30p 4blade now@5800). It's fun a s hell spanking those guys isn't it!!
