The new boats that I see being built have the new 8.2 liter power in them! Sounds fishy.

I have rode in a 24 outlaw with 600+ HP over 80 didn't feel scary...and my 23 wide open nudging 70 felt stable and safe ...just have to take in consideration of the water Conditions....I hope to get mine to 75 doing the raylar stuff over the winter....there are 25 outlaws out there that also have big power and run good..I have rode in cats from 44 ft and v bottoms up to 50 ft .....then jumping in my 23 yes it does feel like a hand full compared to those rigs but its just what you are used too!

If he's running a true 72 he is running way over 500HP.
