Forget that part.

My friend found the owner finally, but glad we came on here to ask.

Lets get back to the technical question about the LINER negative comments.

Any help is appreciated.

It is possible it was ordered that way. I know they did do a couple of boats with different year graphics on them. If i recall there was a 30 Outlaw with the 29 Outlaw graphics on it.

Ok, Here are some photos of the very first 30 Outlaw getting built for the Miami Boat Show in 03'. If you look close in the photos, you can see a simple cabin was done in this boat only to have it done for the show in time. It is the only one ever built with (Foam) stringers throughout. NO 30 ol's were ever built by Baja Marine with wooden stringers. The #2 boat and all the rest had the Baja liner in them. Notice how much higher the nose of the first boat was in the water. It was too light making the boats CG to far aft. It was over 6 months after this first boat until the liner mold was developed, and the model went into production right around the time we started making the 2004 model change in June/July. So this boat in question is a hull that was started early, or more likely a special order paint. Notice the first boat did not have the windscreen developed yet!

As far as liner issues, you can write a book on the pro's & con's.
