Personally, I think Dana's with long risers are better for true HP gains. But if you do headers (Dana's) and reprogram the ECU it is only good for 2 MPH but you pick up some midrange punch and sound too.

It takes about 20 horsepower per MPH to go faster, so since the headers are rated to deliver at least 40 hp more per motor, I would say you will see at 3-4 MPH on top as long as you are not hitting the rev limiter.
Do a search here and in tech column. It has been verified in other boats/set-ups etc. (The switch to CMI's)
I also know a guy here who added CMI's on a 30 Outlaw and he picked up 4 mph I believe. I'm sure he will chime in eventually.

I have heard of a couple sunny's getting good #'s after adding CMI's and was curious for a 35OL. Been doing a lot of research (again) and I think a 35 is going to be the next boat...
