Or you could drop 4' and get what you want for speed and comfort just not length..

Honestly, going from a single 28 to twins in Irish's 302 boat is a very logical move. You are up in size, plus have twins. So, maneuverability changes drastically plus you get the 500's. the cabin in a 302 and 342 are almost the same, only difference is on the port side you have a chair rather than a couch... You are in Canada, just go down to Michigan and check it out.

My boating cohort runs a 2001 302 so I know all about them...and he actually he bought Irish's bimini, so I know there isn't one of those...lol!!
