Nice but too much money. I have a friend that just picked up a 2000 Formula 353 Fastech with twin 500 HP's for stupid cheap money. The boat is a 8 out of 10. He paid way less then that 29 Outlaw. Keep looking and when you find one, beat the seller down. If he is desperate, then he will sell. That is what my buddy did.
If you like that 29 (it has been for sale for a while because I've seen it listed before) I would offer him $25000.00 and go as high as $28 to $30000.00 and not a nickle more.

Drives just look like he tried to boat on land once:lolhit: and never repainted the skegs. Its going to need some interior work and if it was ever run in salt that exhaust is on borrowed time if its original you can tell look at the gasket with a mirror between the manifold and the riser. If the gasket has paint on it its never been apart.Still not a bad starter boat but I would offer 21k and go to 25k.

Or pulls up to sandbars or beaches.

Id like to see the keel of the boat

I assume the 6.2's would really hurt the resale value?

They are not bad motors but its not going any faster that mid 60s without spending major dollars. If your ok with that speed the boat checks out and you can buy it for the right price you should be ok.But no way 40k.

Alright guys, thanks for all the help. Thats actually the cheapest 29 ive found, but it does have the smaller engines. Im thinking i'll brave the cold tomorrow and take a ride to look it over. Talk to a salesman and see how talkative he is about the price. I know its been there awhile so between that and the small engines hopefully that'll work in my favor..:evilb:
