Is TBM still on life support?
 

I have not attempt to look to see if the site is still all locked down or if it's even still operating.
Anyone know?

Checked out TBM once, no need to ever return. Here on OSO I have access to great information in the BAJA section, plus all of the other areas. TBM could be a good BAJA site, if ownership changed.

Try bajaboatowners.com it is a good site. And it has different ownership.

Still is fine, no slower than any other site this time of year.....lots of new and some old members still around.

Same as it's always been, just a lot less drama.

I'm member #7 over there. Used to be OK back in the day. I really don't go there anymore (or here for that matter) since I no longer own a boat.

You didn't even have to be part of the drama to get banned from that site. Just had to hang out over here for a weekend.

Quite honestly there has been no drama, (hell there is even a thread trying to stir some up and it has turned into a make fun of the past thread) this has been since th last round of banning last year.

I think the bottom line is, we ALL have opinions of who we like and who we don't. We are ALL type A's, and opinions will clash, just the way it is... Look at off shore racing history, seem's like the same issues....The bottom line, there is room for everyone and if you dont like it, just dont go there.... Oh and no matter what you say or like, the person who owns or runs any particular site is the one that makes the rules, I certainly don't always agree with the decisions, But I am not the one that writes the checks to keep it going. Just saying...

I was there the other day to see if I still had an account but you can't do much over there unless you pony up $$$.

I've never had a problem with Blake. Met a bunch of good guys off TBM that boat LOTO. I still check in every so often just not as much since we don't have a Baja.

I stop over there once in awhile. There are only ever 3 or 4 active threads. I think it is a good bit slower than it once was. OSO is always rocking with activity...

I still don't visit TBM......and nobody else does either!

Was TBM really down at one point or just as banned user you can't get in?
I havn't been there for a while either but in the past I'd always posted on other sites and it never used to be a problem as far as grounds for being banned.

I did a few fun poker runs on the Mississippi and in Madison once I wouldn't have otherwise known about.
Some referals were from there, some not...either way I hate to pay to post.
I do have several of TBM tee's I received for free with a minimum paid membership, makes it slightly eaiser to accept paying a fee to talk online when so many sites are free.

It's totally locked down last I looked.

Well, it has been almost one year since this thread came about. How is the pulse over there? I'm sure one guy is still there telling everyone how great a 540 is & how much efi sucks. What about the rest/other member?
