I see you have Chads old boat, I have met him before. He gave me advice when I was rebuilding my transom. Do you know if he bought a new one yet?

So i've got 2 full days on Lake Travis in this outlaw now and it's been exceptional. The boat just straight does not care about any degree of chop or wakes i've run across so far, in fact it gets a little boring when the water smooths out. No more unnecessary reasons to slow down! I would like it to be just a little bit faster though (this is probably always going to be the case). The fastest i've seen on my phone's GPS is 61, however accurate that is. 70 seems like a decent goal to work towards.

I had a 1992 24' with an HP500 merc. The boat ran great. Solid 74mph all day. Boat ran strong with a full tank of gas and 4 people on board. I did have to replace the engine hatch due to water damage. I also installed a tubular swim platform that looked great.
With the 24 degree hull it was the best handle 24' boat at 70+ in the chop I have ever drove. Good luck with the boat, they are great.
