Welcome to OSO.

Nice boat. Congrats.

What kind of drive and engine are you running?
Don't trim your bravo up that far while under way. You will trash your u-joint. It looks cool, but kills your drive.

Happy boating

You should have to trim it up, but not to the point of throwing a rooster tail like you do. You will definately ruin your ujoints and outdrive doing that.

Also sounds like you are running your exhaust through the prop. Does this boat have the exhaust diverters on it? Captains Call?

Hello,

The exhaust is running through the prob. The exhaust tabs under the swim platform are dummies. Sorry, because my english is not so good.

Happy boating.

Default Engine

Hello,

If you want to see the engine and the exhaust dummies, click at my name in Youtube and look into my Cannel. There is a video called 'Baja 232' . In this video is our boat on the trailer and at the and of the video is the engine.

Happy boating.

Hey no problem, we get the point

As was said. Do trim your drive out when running, you need to. Is this your first boat of thie type? If so, here is a few tips. Do you know where neutral position of the drive is on your trim gauge? Neutral trim is when your drive is trimmed so that the propshaft sits @ zero degree angle to the bottom. The drive will sit perpendicular to the bottom. I've tried to illustrate it here. Low line being the prop shaft and the top being the bottom/keel of the boat. __-----

When at WOT. Start at neutral trim. Then trim out in small increments untill you start to pick up speed. When it has stopped gaining speed, give it a tiny click or two more on the up switch. If no more speed is gained, you are at what is the "right" trim. This can change depending on how much fuel, passengers ect. you have on board. You will need to play around with it, and find the best trim settings for different speeds, loads and weather conditions.

Welcome
Was dir die Amis hier erklären wollen, das deine Baja niemals mit solch einer fontaine(rooster tail) hinten fährt!
Dein Boot ist absolut übertrimmt und du zerstörst deine Kreuzgelenke!!!

Have fun with your new Boat!

Default Thanks

Hello,

thanks at all for that useful information. You helped me very much. Now I have to stop doing a rooster tail, because I won´t buy every month a new Bravo.

Happy boating.
