Default Couple questions

The square speaker covers by the front bolsters are falling apart, what do you guys do for replacements?
Secondly, the drives won`t go up in the "trailering"
all the way up position, otherwise the trim works fine, any ideas where I might start? All the wires are hooked up at the switch.

thank you

Dan

hate to ask,,,but I have to,,,,your hitting the extra trailer button right ????

could be the switch,,,,woring,,,or your trim limit sending unit on the drive otherwise

are you talking about the bose sprakers in front?

I made plates and put 6 1/2s in mine

Dennis hit it. Press the trailer button and the trim buttons all together. Trim alone stops at the adjustable limit setting on the gimbals, trailer button ignores that limit and go all up. For down just hit trim down.
You should be able to find several options for speaker grills after market.

I didn`t think of that, just pressed the trailer button on its own, so that must be it, thanx!

Dennis yes the Bose covers are all falling apart, the stereo is a whole other issue, theres 3 subs in the rear bench that don`t work, two huge amps in the crapper, cuddy speakers don`t work at all,(previous owner never used the stereo) I gotta take it somewhere to figure all that out.

Also the horn sounds like a dying animal, how do I get to it from the inside? I thought the Baja cover comes off but figured I`d ask before I started to try to take it off.

Id ditch the Bose personally.

The cabin speakers may not have been hooked back up when the subs were installed.

Gimme a call when you want to mess with it

I got caught at first with the same issue, I was only hitting the one button. Felt pretty stupid once I found out user error.

Thanx guys, I have as friend who should be able to handle the stereo stuff, I`m bringing the boat by him next weekend.

Generally, do you guys run the cuddy speakers with everything else?

The horn is up behind that bulk head panel. On my 36, I have to remove the two pieces of trim that cover the deck joint. Baja has traditionally hidden the screws behind the folds of material. Finds those, remove them and then you sneak the bolkhead cover out. I just ended up putting air horns on each side behind the engine air inlet covers on each side of the boat. Plenty loud now !!
