Baja's advertised weight is 4750(Dry weight) I'd say closer to 6800

Not bashing here, but how do you come up with 2050 lbs extra? The dry weight is with a 350 MAG or 377. A 496 if running that, is not that heavy compared to the small block. Fuel is about 6 lbs a gallon.

Probably around 6800-7000 full of fuel on the trailer.

My 240 (24 Outlaw) with 100 gallons on the trailer was 6500. Not sure what it is now after the rebuild.

We kept our 25 with a 502 on a 6,000 lift for years and had no issues. Obviously our 25 loaded with stuff weighed in under 6,000 lbs.

On the trailer full of fuel and gear. Dry weight in 2002 was with 496 Mag, but I can tell you from experience Baja gave Eagle Trailers dry weight of a 302@6800 so that how my trailer was built. I took out 2 hubs and a axle after that I weighed it on trailer I weighed in at 10,800# with no gear just fuel. Had to replace all 3 axles and wheels/tires. I recall my 272 weighing in at over 6000# on a trailer as well with a 502Mag. Baja's dry weight on that boat is 4400#. I might be off by a couple hundred #'s but thats about it. Throw gear on and I'm close.

I also keep mine on a 6000# lift...no issues

Dry weight..4750#
96 gallons fuel @ 6.25/gallon = 600#
Misc gear 350#

Total weight....5700#

Typically you wouldn't include the weight of the trailer. The dry weight is 4,750. Loaded I would guess somewhere around 5,500 to 5,800.

I know this is a different boat, but thought you might find the info helpful. I weighed my '08 26 Outlaw on a certified truck scale. The boat was emty of gear, but with a full 100 gallon tank of gas. Trailer and all it was 7,660 lbs. Heritage trailer told me to figure 1,500 lbs. for the trailer. That brings the boat in at 6,160 lbs. ready to run without people/gear. This is ALOT more than the advertised dry weight.
