Trim problem....
Was out on the weekend, and thought that my trim gauge wasn't working at one point, but now I'm pretty sure the trim itself was sporadic. Milky fluid in the reservoir too, so my trim cylinders could be leaking.....
On the trailer now in my driveway, the trim pump will run to extend the drive all the way up, but when I hit either the trim on the throttle or the trailer switches, all I hear is a click (relay I'm assuming), and no pump noise. The click tells me the wiring is good, and the relay is likely ok as well.
Anybody have experience with this, maybe the motor needs rebuilding or replacing, or other thoughts? Thanks! Gotta fix this or I won't be going anywhere!

Yep, ran through the Merc troubleshooting section (solenoid bypass, jump etc.), and it appears to be a bad down solenoid. Sticky or something.
Good to know that you can bypass your solenoids and get your drive down or up in an emergency, as long as you have a length of jumper wire. Gonna leave one in the boat.
Will change it tomorrow!
