Check under the step in the cabin. On the outlaws there is a bilge pump. It should pump the water out a least. It could be dead or clogged

I'm currently rebuilding her from bow to transom. The stringers and balsa core was rotted through. I have pictures of the damage online at http://monsteroffshore.com. She'll be like a brand new boat the way it should have been built. Check your tank too; 6 of the 8 mounts were sheared off – see the pics. When I did the teardown I noticed a lot cheesy glass work too. Stuff you won’t see unless you pull the cap. I also think that this boat was snowed in a few times with no cover. Whoever owned it was a careless dip****.
I not saying your boat is like this but this one was.
Any updates to this rebuild? Pics?

That bilge pump under steps has two problems,
one is the fuse goes bad under the back seat or
dirt gets in the pump float and stops it from coming
on. The dirt in the float can also stop it from shutting
off and that will cause the the fuse to burn out and
pump or batteries to go dead.
The reason why the water doesnt drain to the back
of the boat is because some one useing a generator
while sleeping died because of the fumes went in the
back drain hole and out the one in the cuddy.

my 240sport/ol and my 28saber drain from the cabin back to the bilge. but I could see fumes coming up to the cabin if running slow. I glassed in my hatch cut outs otherwise water gets in the coring and you will hear crunch sounds. I can't believe the different in build, between my two boats. the saber looks like my friends skater 46. sounds like metal wnen knock on sides/floors/bulkheads. very well built boat. Art

Default I had the same problem

My 93 OL, had those pop up cleat catch pockets were plugged, and the clear waterlines were disconnected, plus watch your nav light base, make sure its siliconed because it does leak as well. to my disovery it rotted the front part of my cuddy underneath, but i discoverd the problem by stripping the whole boat!

I did just buy my boat the past August, so I did end up using this as an excuse to redo the whole boat! in and out!

Does anybody have a manufacturer and part number for the cabin bilge pump? I just removed my step and found the pump has been removed.
