I had in on Craigslist for $32900, had nothing but a bunch of BS, first guy with cash took it. In this market its tough to find someone with even 30k cash let alone a 100k to buy a boat.
I picked up a nice 92 24 outlaw with 502 for $5500

I sometimes thumb through old "boating" mags, the ones that have the big 2 page ads for Lake Cumberland, etc. Its wild to see boats that where 350-400K that are STILL for sale for about 1/2 the original price and still not selling!
I agree! My little Baja isnt much of a boat, but, I dont owe on it, so, if things get bad (worse?) It can sit on the trailer too! I am not giving it away. having said that, if I was out of work and 3 months behind in my mortgage I might be a little more "open" to selling.
I think guys you see selling boats "cheap" A lot of them are worried that in 3 months they will be even harder to sell... Scary thought!
