Scam or good deal??
I found this great looking 24 outlaw online and it is 50% under what many sell for...something must be wrong with it I would think, may be going up to look at it sometime if it is truely a good buy... what do the rest of you think judging by article, will update with more info when I get a reply from ownerr

I think i would show up with 8k cash. 12k seems high to me. last year i purchased a 97 Baja 272 with 454 mag, for 11k

Okay well that is good to know, most I see are atleast 20 grand....hey the 8k Idea is good, but with all the rebuilds I wouldn't trust to buy without a survey, I assume others could agree with this.

$12k sounds about right on the 24. $10k would be a good buy if its nice. |

that is a good/ fair price for one. i would have started a little higher and my bottom dollar been around his asking number.
depending on the engine builder..... rebuilds can be awesome. the biggest enemy IMHO is an engine builder that does street/drag engines and will not listen to the specs you get from someone that sets up marine engines and is giving you this info out of the goodness of their heart. marine engines are set up different. they have a constant load and their internals can get HOT. |
