I don't think the dimmer was a option on the 302 most likely added by someone if they swapped out gauges. I agree the Kplanes and steering are a must have option. You'll love that feature.

As far as swim platform I will be building a mold. I'm trying to finalize cost on it now.

That "dimmer" is a remote DB bass gain for your subwoofer amp. If a song has too much or too little bass it will allow you to adjust it on the fly.

Could be a dimmer too. I have one on my 29 that looks the same.

checked it out and it is a dimmer for the dash lights. I am surprised that I cannot find any hour meters on this boat. I have a reading from the scan tool so OK with knowing what the hours are but it would be nice to be able to mark the hours for service intervals

Kind of too late now, but my 2001 29OL with 496HO ran 79+ on GPS a couple times. Running 77+ on GPS was a no brainer. Was spinning labbed Mirage+ 27's.

Ooops. The post above was supposed to be from me. I guess I logged by mistake using some "other" 29outlaw account. PW was the same as mine. Go figure.

Hour meters should be in gauges, but if they switched them out for different ones it's why you don't have. When I switched my gauges I put meters in engine compartment.

Get some meters, run them on a battery to match the real hours and mount them in the bilge.
