Anyone try this exhaust?? Just wondering what your thoughts were about them. Thinking about installing them on my 496 Mag.

Kyle.

i had these on my hammer and they are awesome, installation was a snap, and the performance and sound was impressive, really didn't expect any gain as most wouldn't but on my 7.4 310hp i turned a 23p mirage plus at 4700 and with the exhaust it was turning 5000, so i bumped up to a 25p mirage plus and was spinning that around 4600, and gained real world 2-3 mph, these are not a manifold but rather a tube style header, i'm torn right now whether to get these again or go lightnings on my HO

Kyle,

You can get in to these Stainless 496 headers for a great price http://www.custommarine.com/headerap...op_headers.php. Call one of our distributors for the best pricing available; http://www.custommarine.com/customers.php

Regards,
CMI

I did consider the CMI headers but unfortunately I have not heard anything positive about them....mainly the leaking issues, and some are not happy with the little gains they achieved for the money that was spent to get them.
I also have read that the install can be a bit of a pain in the ass...

Now with that being said, make my decision harder...convince me that the CMI's are the way I should go.
