Yes, I ended up buying it, the price became right and the deal on the trade was hard to pass up. Jeff over there at Seelye Wright was great to deal with and now the boat is in NY on Lake Ontario and it is everything that it was when I followed the build with Dock. The 500 Intakes have been set up on the 540s with CK Motorsports and they run great, already have put 5 hours on them with the second summer we have had here in NY.

Good luck with the new boat! Post some photos of it on the water again.

I have def. appreciated all the work that has gone into this boat and the countless hours of customization, I just keep finding more and more things. I see you were a big part of it as well following the "rebirth of the baja"!

It was a group effort. WOTWTE has the most hours in the rigging, LED's, and stereo. Lakeway did the fiberglass work, and XT-Innovations made the McLeod interior fit. My job was to go get the pizza! LOL

To all the haters, please do not judge me if you do not know me, the situation, what the boat actually sold for at auction (not the minimum asking price plust the trailer) and how much I actually spent making it right after it was raped of everything of value except the motors....and furthermore we did pull the motors, fix the oil leaks that were never done right, and like everything we sell is impecably clean, something I myself would own and be damn sure it is done right!!! Sorry, it just irritates me when people talk about me and my intentions without knowing who I am or how we do business...Stop in some time and you will see we are a first class organization.

PS It took all over $30k to put humpty back together....

Xt, who did most of the maint on the engines? First, I want to be sure I winterize it correctly, its not like normal where there are plugs in the block. I also want to know what engine oil was used etc... Thanks for any input!

You'd winterize it pulling antifreeze in through the freshwater flush connections after it's reached operating temp. Then change the oil and fuel filters and your done. This is short version everyone has little processes they use. I like to mix a witches brew in a can and run engines on it while winterizing. Don't forget to put Stabil(Marine version) in as well to combat the ethanol.

Got your PM, and sent it to Adam because he is the person who installed them originally, and when the boxes/drives were done.

Thank you very much XT, its really appreciated. I winterized as I always would today, pulled the hoses on the oil cooler and steering cooler, and also the plugs on the headers but as I said I cannot find a drain on the block. I ran about 5 gallons of antifreeze through it with muffs until it was running out the exhaust for a couple min's at idle, then fogged through the intake prior to shutting down. Then pulled the plugs again to get the antifreeze out of the headers. This should be good but I would def like to drain the block. Also, I wonder about if it has a oil thermostat and if it has to be up to temperature to actually let the antifreeze go through the motor while it is running. I do not really know how that works. It will bother me if I dont know how it is suppose to be done right. Its here in my garage for the winter so I am ready to go do it right once I know the right way, though it should be good as is. Thanks again!

XT, I thought you may be the person to ask, Doc had the billet fender clips onthe boat, but I cannot see where to buy the knobs that insert into the for the fenders. Would you know where to get them at? Thanks.

That looks like them. I think the original design only had one loop hole, but I could be wrong. Baja Marine never used this design in production.

You are right the ones that Dock had originally had one hole instead of two. I think it depends on where you get them from as to which configuration you get.
