we had it happen, twice, first time they fixed them, the whole sanding them down, then letting them dry, and patching them. But then they never matched the gel colour well. After the first repair did not stick, the boat ended up going back to the manufacturer and ended up getting a whole new hull.

Or blast and bottem paint(will hurt resale)
thank you for the insight, doing some research, that is what i found to do. I too don't like bottom paint

i think i will be doing that in a few years, not this year, how long do you have to wait for drying time

To be quite honest, if you trailer the boat all the time and plan on keeping for a long time then I would bother fixing, but if you plan to re-sell the boat in the next year or 2 then it will need to be done.
i plan on trailer it all the time, it sits in my back yard. and i do plan on keeping for a long time. so it may take me a while to have it done

from what you are saying , i better get it fixed soon. to bad it isn't under warranty, but if those years had a bad run, then they should still, fix it and made it a recall. but since the company is bought by fountain, i am **** out of luck. and baja would probably have laughed at me also if i brought it up now

Can't see how the bunk slides would work. If you dunk the trailer and retrieve the boat, they're wet, obviously. And with 5000 lbs of boat sitting on them, they're not going to dry out between the slide surface and the hull surface. How is that different than carpet, except for slightly less water?

Unless I'm missing something.
