Angry 25 outlaw stress cracks

I am having problems with cockpit corner cracks. All four corners have cracked pretty bad. Baja paid 2 different companys to try to fix them but they keep comming back. now I have one showing up on my transom. Is any one else having this problem?

Hull blisters are my biggest fear with a boat. Stress cracks are second. Luckily I haven’t been cursed with either. Earlier today I was out killing time looking at boats sitting on dealer lots. If it makes you feel any better, I saw stress cracks on the following boats:

1999 Powerquest
2002 Fountain
2000 Cigarette

The only stress cracks I have on my boat are on the windfairing.
First off, I think you run ANY boat hard enough you are going to get stress cracks.
second, are we talking MAJOR cracks or just the little spyder cracks. The little ones are going to happen. The big one, well I'd be worried too. Maybe the hull was pulled out of the mold a little to early or something. Tell Baja you want a new boat under the lemon law!

Did some lemon law investigating when I was having problems with my 502. You have to give them 3 tries to fix the same problem. Get a calendar and mark down all the times you call Baja. Trust me they suck at calling back. Keep every piece of paperwork you get your hands on. Bottom line is they are a business and are here to make money. You can win just be prepared.

Well look who's lurking at Baja.

Hey Fred, How is the Sonic coming?

I was in Cheraw a few weeks back and tried to look you up. The Burger King is out of business. What's up with that? Are you spending too much time on OSO? LOL.

Take care Mark

I sold my 50 hour old '99 25 Outlaw this spring, it had stress cracks starting at both rear corners of the gunnels. Nothing was mounted there or anything. You could see it with the hatch down, working it's way upwards. It also had stress cracks in the floor in several spots.

We've had two other Baja's that had no stress cracks anywhere.

Nope,
It was always stored in a climate controlled storage building.

I know that donzi had this problem, go to www.donziblister.com that is how baja should fix it.

Default Climate controlled....

The guy I bought the 25 Outlaw from a guy that kept it in a building with A/C-Heat, humidifier, etc...totally ANAL!! But that's the kind you want to buy a boat from. I didn't have it long enough to store the boat.

It looked like the wife and I were going to be relocated due to work, but it didn't pan out, and that was after we sold the boat. It went to South Carolina. Super nice boat! Gave it away. 500HP, Latham, etc....
