Bone stock 2002 25 ol
#11
Steve, if you ever want to try any other props I have a assortment of good stuff between 26 and 28 pitch. I bought a 28 labbed Greg Hittner cutting edge prop to try on my 272 with 1.36 gears this summer and shreded my blower belt /broke my tensioner then blew the lower gears up/sheared vert shaft off/wrecked lower drive housing on vacation before I ever got to try it BUT a good friend that has a 525 sc powered Checkmate that had previosuly ran his best top speed with my merc 26 labbed prop picked up a little more top end, pm me if you want to try it, Smitty

x2, i always considered bone stock the way it left the factory, options at the factory added later to your boat is besides the point, if you change anything to improve power, handling etc it is not bone stock, just my .02

Closer to stock then modified.
BONE STOCK is going a little far but if you went around bragging your were modified I bet everyone on here (even the ones who call you stock) would laugh saying "you bearly have anything done". "its not like its running a procharged 540 with a mitchet T paint job"!

So if someone say signed a waiver when ordering a boat at the factory and raised the X dimension 3/4" cause it's known to be faster on a particular boat and requested a labbed Mercury Racing prop and a Stelling's Extension box it wouldn't be considered stock?
