We boat on a small lake on Louisiana named Cypress Lake. Max depth is only about 25 ft. No waves. Just looking for a cool single engine boat. Might take it to Texoma or Degray a couple times a year.

The 25, 26, 272 and 275 are deep wee hulls with 24 degree dead rise, where as the 23, 242 and 247 are with a lesser 23 degree dead rise. If you boat anywhere that can get bumpy, you will like the added dead rise.
The 242 Islander is 24* deadrise. It also wieghs in at 4400lbs dry which is the same dry wieght as the 275. For only a 24ft boat, the 242 Islander will handle the rough quite well and I speak from experience.

Been on this boat. Very well kept.

I have the only 2011 26OL with a Crockett 560HP engine, IMCO E-Box, and 2" Shorty if you are looking for a "cool single". Located in the St. Louis area.

You're right, brainfart on my part. I will still say that the added length of the 272 and 275 is nice. But as Daddy states, they don't boat in anything really rough, so it's not much of a deal.

+1 on this cause I went to see the boat for him when he was interested in buying it. If it wasn't for the wife holding me back I would have bought it myself. It is a nice looking boat!

Default 24ft

I am very happy with my 24 ft outlaw it does just great in the choppy waters of lake erie in new york, the 24 degree dead rise helps alot in this rough lake
