Tank, you are correct. The last time it was listed it was mid to high 30s on the price, I do remember that. Looks like a sweet boat, I don't think I could handle the loss of cockpit space. XT is right, I would for sure change it to a straight back seat!

Thanks Paul (and rum runner). I was just entertaining the idea but really don't want to deal with a project.

But it would be a fun/cool boat to have and rejoin my fellow Baja Brotheren

This boat is in a friend of mines shop in Anderson, SC now. They are pulling the engines and going to do a complete rebuild. I will keep you posted on the progress of their rebuild.

Did your buddy purchase the boat???
In spite of the repairs necessary I think it would be a great purchase in the mid 30's.
With Baja have being such a large volume builder it's really cool to own a one off factory boat.
I purchased mine last year at the exact same pricing level, mid 30's.
I just wish my construction company could generate more sales so I could round up the coin to get her hull and deck looking as ship shape as she did in her glory days. My seller had her tied to the dock in the sun from Memorial day to Labor day every summer from the day he bought it.
I think it's beyond buffing and needs an all over paint job.

See ya,
Kelly

I have not seen the boat yet. We were at the local poker run last week and the boat came up in conversation. I hope to get by and take a look at it sometime. I know their first priority is to get the engines out and go through them. Know the guy who has it when he is through it will look better than the day it rolled out of the factory.
