I don't know the boat, but if those engines have 1000 hours on them, I would say they will need rebuild, or repower. Maybe they added the two Hour meters together.....

A 1000 hrs!? Not probable, the place isn`t that big. If it is from the Chain then 50% of those hrs. were spent idling. I call it the Chain of Wakes. Muddy dirty nasty shallow place

Nop one hr meter is 975 the other one is at 1000, they ran the scanners and the motors have on them what the meters are saying. A repower will be expensive, too expesive for a boat that is in so so shape.

Yep agree 100%...

I boat on the chain and its a nice body of water and I do 80 to 100 hours a year and not too many of those hours are idle either..I could see how some may think its high hours if your out on Lake Michigan and anchor at the Pen all the time ..
some people like to use their boats they just dont like to run them...

I think I might have missed one weekend last season, otherwise we were out every weekend on Lake Mich. and I put on 50hrs. that includes a couple poker runs.
Personally it would not be easy for me to put on double that unless i quit work and went during the week

I put 25hrs on a year and I only have used my boat 3 weekends a year the past 2yrs. I don't sit idle much when I boat though. I know a couple people only boat on weekends and do a 100hrs. That boat is 11yrs old now keep in mind up til about 2006 gas was cheap so people ran alot more.

I put a offer in of 10,000 on that boat and it was refused, its way to rough to be worth any more than that. I was told the bank denied offers in the 20's also. There is fiberglass damage, engines make noise, etc etc. Really isnt even worth the offer I made! Hull is junk, engines are junk, would not be surprised if the drives were junk also! So what are you even buying!!!!!
