VERY happy with them. I am running the Clarion CMD6 head unit, and all JL M series amps. MX series cockpit coaxials 6 7.7" and 2 6.5" . 2 10" M series subwoofers Sounds REAL NICE!!!

I live in Eastgate/Milford area. I am 5 min from Eastgate Mall.

I just bought a boat that was built with NO STEREO, so i get to start from scratch! Im excited about it but want to make sure i put the right stuff in. I love the JL's. I would think you could get the speakers/amps online cheaper than from a local store.

Thats pretty much what I did, I ripped EVERYTHING out of the boat and cut new and bigger openings, ran all new wire, and mounted everything from head unit to remotes on the back.

x2 on the CMD6 and transom remote (get the one with the LCD screen), works great. The CMD is a splash proof head unit and doesn't require covering. There's a video version as well if you want that.

I second the CMD6, great unit stainless casing easy Ipod hookup with charging! Plus I almost got strangled with all the nice pre-outs waiting for me.
