Prop slip calculator at 16% with 23p @ 5000 shows actual speed near 59mph. I figured this would be pretty close. I however am willing to listen as I have NO experience with this hull. Being straight bottom, i am not sure if this hull would benefit from the xtra stern lift from a 4 blade but the mid range cruise as stated with a 22 Bravo prop may be good. Any more input? Im all ears. Just trying to help a friend out.

Big difference between the 7.4 MPI rating of 4400 to 4600 and the 6.2 rating. I recall that even at Baja many early 6.2 powered boats left the plant "over propped". I would recommend that they stay with a smaller prop at 5100 than a larger prop turning 4800, even if the top speed is the same.

Thanks for all the help guys. Does anyone know where I can find cockpit carpet and a cockpit cover besides having one made? Curious if the covers are all the same or the boat will have to go to an upholstery shop. Giving Brett at Bblades a call in the morning.
