These probably aren't a "need" item, but a "want" item.
How many people have these still around/
They're not makin' any more of 'em!

I may have to rethink this. I was going to list mine as a big collection in hopes of some BAJA fanatics battling it out in an ebay auction, but I think they are more valuable sold individually to people that have a certain year boat. I saw a couple older Checkmate brochures sell for $45 to $55 indiviually.

My grandfather was an artist and did a few drawings for a few Chris-Craft ads in the late 40's. I still have the originals and even made a few reproductions of it. I always wondered if they would have any value. Also have a few poster size prints of the entire Chris-Craft line-ups...I would have to dig to see which years they were from...I would assume late 40's?

I think to the right person they would be worth alot according to what Ive seen. In this case, since your Grandfather did them you are the right person and should probably hang on to those, but it would be cool if you could get some pics sometime.

Someone should start a thread in the general section, Ive totally hi-jacked this thread. I bet someone on here has been going to boat shows for years and has been hoarding brochures from different companys.

I have a reserve on them on ebay, and if they don't seem to do much there, I might consider selling individually.
There's a whole lot of Baja historty there between the factory brochures and the Full Throttles.
I can't believe you guys aren't jumping on these for no more money than I'm asking.
