My three favorites are (in no order)

1. Dock's old 36
2. Hank36's recently painted 36
3. JT's bad azz 33
love that third boat...wow!

Agreed, but that boat can be built correctly.

The 33 & 36 tooling is buried under tons of garbage within sight of where I am setting, but the 35ol tooling (hopefully) is only collecting dust right now?

Man, such a shame.... Figured Dean or someone would have taken them somehow to Checkmate or (?) someone would have picked up at least the 33. The 36 can stay there in the pile...the 35 can be built right and fast for sure.

Last I heard of that blue 40 OL (Believe it was "40 Something") was at Hawkeye some years ago. Do you know what happened to that 40?

Chad has the Coolest painjob for sure. Also has a nicely done custom matching interior.
Definately a nice ride!
I think my favorite of the oldschool Baja was the old APBA Paceboat with the big target on the side. Lots of jokes in the Pre-race meetings about, "remember, it's the pace boat. Stay BEHIND it. Don't AIM for it!

Last I knew, it's still at LOTO...the guy that owns is the previous owner of my 33 ( he traded the 33 in on the 40)

The list includes:

Lucky 7's
Hawkeyes Green Monster
XT
I'm going with these two mainly because they're the fastest of the boats listed and they don't have disposable outdrives on them....I just wouldn't want to regularly boat in rough water with them. For me, the perfect baja would have been a twin stepped 40 O/L

Is the Green Monster that boat that was owned by a guy named Nate? Grocery Money comes to mind but could be confused. Just recall a Baja get together at Loto that a green and black boat showed up and it was very cool.
Also remember Hawkeye not being welcome on the docks that day. Oh how the times change.
