Not sure what is funny. Does your speedometer go up before rpm's? I will make a better video. The boat is a rocket out of the hole and thought I would share video.

I am not questioning you at all. I had a 272 with a m3 procharger on a 502 and it was a rocket also. As far as the speedo, mine broke and I now have a digital gps and it starts reading instantly. I see you are in IN. Where do you boat? Maybe would could meet up sometime.

That is point of video haha. Need better camera, but that is Livorsi tattletale GPS speedo. Engine is 540 cubic inch running 7 lbs of boost on m1 procharger. Dynoed at 800hp/800tq. Running good, but going to try some different props this weekend. I think I will see 90, but don't want to sacrifice too much midrange. It is really fun from 30-85!

If you really use your boat for a boat and not just a once in a while GPS rocket you will get much more use out of the useable mid range than the sacrifices it takes for that last 5 MPH's.
Been there, done that ;)
80 w/5 guys in the boat is damned impressive.
You will also learn how many 90 MPH boats you'll out run w/your 80 MPH boat.
Big fan of the 25' Outlaws.

Can you post some pics of your engine and outdrive set up. I also have 1998 25 Outlaw. I have a stock 502 that needs to be rebuilt. I`m hoping for 600 hp 600 tq from a 509. Hoping for 75-80 mph.

Here is what mine was. It made 724 hp and 774 ft-lb torque.

10-4 thought you were questioning also haha. I boat on Morse a lot out of convenience, but also go to Monroe. Usually get down to Dale Hollow and Cumberland a couple times a year.

With just 600HP 80 will be out of the question...75 is a very realistic number.

Nice! You have a good mechanic :)

My engine coming back out. Gear spun that controls distributor from cam, is why I lost spark. Between my dad and I, 3 boats out of service. What a great way to start boating season.

My GPS speedo is slow to catch up also. That boat is hauling ass. I'm turning a 30 p right at 90 turning 5800. I want to up the prop but I'm still running bravo propshafts. Hate to twist it off:)

Whats your motor revving to, what drive ratio and where was peak power on the dyno? I have never needed a prop taller than a 32 pitch and my boat is even faster thats why I ask, Smitty
