The boats at Ft. Lauderdale show were not the best they could have taken. The 30 had a good paint job, but that is all you could say about it. The engine hatch was junk, sharp edges of fiberglass, the Baja logo was crooked, horibbly puckered and the stitching was bad. The 26 Outlaw seats (along with the 247 and 278) were generic and embarrasing that they would put them in a boat that they asked that much money for. The sticker graphics were a joke also. The 278 seats are so low that you could not see over the dash, a heavy set guy that said he was President of the company made so many excuses for the boats when I asked about them it was not even funny.
I went to look at Baja and specifically the 30, but when thats all the better boat quality you can bring to the "New" Baja as the guy said, at the world biggest boat show, it makes you wonder what you get when you buy a non show boat!
Going to keep looking, not buying a Baja now, off the shopping list. They wanted $199,000 for the 30 Outlaw Gt with 8.2HO engines, there are better name boats out there that are a much better quality than what I saw there.
This is not the Baja I expected
