I think it may be the end of the line for that engine setup. They really wake up for the 70mph range. I turn a labbed bravo1 24p 5700rpm on mine and can get 68-70 any day have seen 71 on gps with the 4 blade. Have a labbed 23 mirage plus that i have seen 75.1gps on... In October with no gear or fuel with the hatch cracked. otherwise i can guarantee 71to72 out of the mirage plus. Talk to BBlades. Brett knows how to squeeze a few more mph out of a baja. Before i rebuilt mine i had a tired 502 magnum that wouldn't go over 45 with a 19p prop on it.

i had a 99 with the 7.4 mpi very low hours on it would turn a 23 mirage 55 mph any day of the week
