Looking for my next Baja
Hello -
Just sold my 01 Baja 272 Boss last night with 125 original hours and now looking to upgrade in size. I am searching for a 302 or possibly 322 Baja. 302 must be in the 2000 era with good power, graphics, options, etc. They stopped making 322's in 99...so looking for latest model to get some decent grapics package. Also possibly looking a 312 Formula FasTechs as well in the 2000-03 era range.
I am looking to upgrade a lot from my 272 both in cabin size and cockpit room and get a true 70+ boat....these are the options i came up with (Baja 302/322 or Formula Fastech 312).
Any feedback on what to look for in 302's or any weaknesses?
I know it must have the extended swim platform as without it they are almost useless.
If anyone out there knows of any super clean boats please send me some leads.

I have stared and drooled over irish's 302 boss several times online and have talked to him about it as well. Love that boat and what I want....just a bit out of reach $$ for me at this point.
Definitely a quality built and proven boat!!!
See what else pops up out there going into winter season

The 302 performance has lots of room. A buddy has one and it is awesome. He has 496 HO's in it with raised x dimension, labbed 28's, and a light weight cuddy. (just bench seats, no sink, microwave, fridge, ect) and runs 74-75 mph.

The only request from the wife is that it must have good colors and molded swim platform. I love Outlaws, but must agree it has to have a molded swim platform for kids and like the looks better.
I really think 302 is the answer if I go Baja, need to go in a 312 Fastech sometime though and compare.
02 302 Boss just popped up in CT that looks decent with 496HO's...may check this out.
