I have Bronson Hill labed 23p three blades. With those best I have ran is 69.8 at around 5000 rpm. But the boat always feels planted. Can not pull the nose up with trim they just begin to lose grip.
I have a set of 4 blades I got from Fleg. Not sure what pitch they are. I think he said they were 24p labs, but they may have gone up a pitch. He would know more, I forgot. Anyway the boat gets out of the water much better with those nose rides higher with out having to trim. But I can only spin them at around 4400 rpm and a best speed of 65ish. This is with 454 mags 365hp. |

Nightlife, can you share a photo of your bulkhead removed on your baja? I want to do this, but I am worried that my storage space under the rear seat will find its way into the engine compartment.

All I did was take a sawzall and cut it off at floor level. |
So just an update to my journey. I had the other engine completed and we ran it on the dyno at Nickerson Performance. Motor ran really well at 491 hp. We started to loose some power and pulled the filter and cut it open..... Nothing good at all....
