May not leak when sitting still, most likely the water got pushed under hatch on way home, its a good boat I dont think you will have any issues, he is honest dude and was in no rush to sell, so I am sure he told you all... he knows how it is in the boat buisness so you know..
yea, he kept it inside at work also, helped keep it nice.. |

Looks very clean. A buddy bought one new in 88, his had 320EFI's with Alpha SS drives. Was very fast for the day!
Enjoy it! |
320/SS set up was rare and really fast for an "sbc/alpha" boat! Would have loved to see a Force 265 with that and surprise the hell outta some bigger boy's when you roll on by doing 70+

Yea that def could have been the problem.. ill check it after a few days to see if it does it again. im excited for next year tho epically since i haven't seen one of these in my area let alone the twin set up. im sure itll surprise alot of people either way haha. we took it out and in some pretty bad chop we were going 60-63 on gps so i figure on less chop/calm water she cooks.

the more chop the better, get some air under it, 63 should be about all she has, maybe a 64 with wind pushin ya..!

Welcome! Mine's an '87, but basically the same boat!
I'm beginning to think Baja bought marron and grey paint and fabric. So many of their boats from that era have the same colors, just different configuaration. The fridge comes out easily with just a few screws around the front edge. You can then check your wiring. |
im having a problem with the engine cover actuator if you use it straight to the battery it goes up and down no issue.. if i hook it up to the switch on the panel it need help going up... down just fine but you have to lift while u switch it up.. thoughts?

I had a 87 also with the single 454 it WAS A GREAT BOAT...
