Default Baja 33' Outlaw Fun

Driving (actually Kristy is currently driving) across the country looking for OSO to entertain me! Ran out of new threads to read and figured its my turn to contribute some fun to OSO! Enjoy!

We love our Baja. Like most we agree its one of the best Baja's made. Doesn't stop me from dreaming about upgrading boats, but overall for the money (even 2 or 3 times the money) we have not found a better boat for us.

2001 Baja 33' Outlaw. Team Baja "poker run" edition cabin. Procharged 500 EFI's aprox 730-830hp, stellings boxes, 380 K-planes, Imco SC drives, true 94-96 every day, full tank fuel, full gear, 6 people.

Like we all say there is more left in her but since drives like to break I have never held the sticks all the way for more then a few seconds. Can't afford to fix the drives more often then I already do, and definitely don't want to imagine blowing the engines.

Pretty cool pic in the current issue of Power boating in paradise by the FPC. We ran the Boyne Thunder Poker run and like always Jay took an amazing pic of our boat!

I love the speed, handling and looks of the Imco SC's but even though every other part is upgraded, the XR gears still break, and sometimes other parts like vertical shafts etc.

Why did we take the helmet and gimbal rings off again??? Oh yeah, because we wanted to upgrade drives and could not make a decision between the Arneson, X-Power, Imco SCX, and Imco SCX-4. So we rebuilt the SC's....again.

Love the huge cockpit, one reason upgrading boats doesn't "feel" like much of an upgrade!
