I have a 24 OL and have a 509 all internals by Bob Madera and assembled by me and a machine shop here local. Never dynoed. He est 550 horse or so. All other bolts on like the 500hp. Have hydro steering and k-planes. She used to get really wonky at high speeds. and that may have slowed it down. I have not had the cabin interior in it since the build. carry the normal gear. alone, low fuel, October... 50 Fahrenheit, hatch cracked open 1 foot chop 75.1 mph gps. any other day 69-72mph. depends on the day, load, fuel, heat, water. shes a good boat. the acceleration of the boat/engine configuration makes a lot of 27 fountains around here sad. I bet they could wind out over a couple miles and get me but i get them on the jump.

98 24 outlaw here. Stock had the base 330 454. With a mirage 23+ trimmed out I was able to get 59 on gps. Motor is out now and I have a Bob Madera 548cu in going in it. Dynoed 652hp, we'll see what she does this coming summer. Hoping once I get it dialed in I should be over 80.

I gain more rpm with the hatch open getting some fresh air. I should do a closed and open test. I guess i just figured it was helping considering i was wearing layers trying not to freeze out there. The water was cold and the air was cold...
