In the market for one of the two. looking for 2000 and newer and don't want to spend over $80,000. Just any suggestions would be appreciated.

You should have lots to select from with that budget. Where are you boating? Overnighting much? Do you really need the extra 3'? Personally I like the 33 better. Faster with the same power, plenty of cockpit space, well balanced hull, lighter, easier to trailer.....

Mainly boat inland lake in northern MI. Not much overnighting just cant decide if the 36 is worth the extra money. It seems like the prices on the 33 are all over the board. Are any really selling at some of these crazy prices. In my mind I should be able to get a nice 04 33' for $65,000. I could be wrong though.

The extra 3 feet is in the cabin between the two.
If your not overnighting and on an inland lake ,,,,the 33 would be a better choice

Both GREAT boats! I really love my 33! You won't go wrong with either boat. The 33 is faster and the 36 handles rough water a little better but the 33 WILL handle more then what you will enjoy boating in anyways!
Where in Northern MI do you boat?
What boat do you currently have?

Thanks everyone for responding. Im coming from a 25 outlaw ,but its been a couple years. We mainly will be on Torch but will also spend some time on Saginaw Bay and Tawas area. Its just been a couple years since boat shopping and prices seem to have gone up a bit from 2010. We will probably end up with a 33'. Looking at one locally just waiting for weather to cooperate for test drive. There are some nice ones in the classifieds but seem to be priced on the high mark.

Just moved up from a 252, to a 342. and a world of difference. could never go back now.
That being said. Not sure you will scoop one that low. for that new.. but it depends on how clean, and hours and options.
My 2002, loaded was in that kind of money. so 2 years newer with less options may happen. just depends.
