Unfortunately the handle broke in pieces and I did not keep it! I did contact XT they are looking into it...my boat has the two gas shocks mounted on each side and is a manual lift engine hatch the handle is basically a little spring loaded plastic deal u lift up on to unlock the engine hatch and then the gas shocks raise it up the hatch monts to the hatch with 2 screws and shuts on a ball top post that is mounted on the boat?

If I'm thinking of the right latch - and no gurantees there...
- Black plastic lever, body of mechanism mounted with two screws on either side of an round opening for a polished SS pin to go into?
I think thats the same latch that was used on Sea Rays with opening motor lids, try a Sea Ray dealer, might be pricy but if they can match the part you can then look other places for it. Try a 2009 Sea Ray Pachanga motor lid latch.

I am impressed! You are HOT HOT on the right path, but the ones Sea Ray uses have the Sea Ray logo on them. You cannot put that on a Baja man.

Most Boat US, or US Marine stores are distributers for Taco Metals and just need the part number. If they don't, you have my email that I PM you on Sunday and I can try to pull some strings.
