hey mittens!!
aren't you supposed to be at the beach by now!!! lucky b(*)&^
do you have a pic of your seating..
dont know if I would go thru all of that, but curious how yours looks as I never made it that way!
oh.. homemade.... they would look good.. my Fleet mgr used to be a welder before he started driving big rigs
I conveniently added welding supplies to our lil shop in case "I" had a project to weld alum.. Also have a good friend who can supply me with cutoffs of alum tubing. And then I would polish the legs (all tubing with disks/rubber on bottom to distribute weight)
Then polish... but with all that... yes, easier with coolers!
may end up that route...

Since it is basically the same boat...they should fit somehow... Here is a generic pic of one. I know there were a few options as some had the sink behind the psngr. bolster so the U-Shape was shorter on the port side then the stbd side if I remember right. Hit up XT and see what options he can come up with. If you do something I'd keep it as factory looking as possible so it flows. etc... JMO

Mine is like this on both sides. I have the stait bench, which is what I wanted, for floor space. So i assume its basicly what you have as well.

Hossman posed a pic of the FUll U shape seating. and there is one more set up avilivble. its call entertainment seating. its the one with the sink and the icemaker. (but you can do the seat part with out the icemaker.)

I like standing and using legs to absoarb waves. Understand where you are coming from though. I like some type of seat that faces backwards from the front bolster. Look at the 47 fountain, and 43 nortechs for some ideas.
You could have all the adults stand and kids sit.

Helm and co-pilots can opt to stand/sit. (Me stand!!) While rest wives can sit on bench holding lil ones.
Then no modifying anything that would be permanent.. and taken out for our family and poker runs..

Just have to find some rubber mats (preferably white???) to put them on to stay put..

yeah.. but I don't want to drill any holes.
I was searching online yesterday and found white rubber bath mats at wally world. So I may just try that (cut to fit if needed) and also put a large d-ring or something to hold the handle to the bolster for added security.
