Roadrunner trailer for 33 Outlaw
I listed my 02 Roadrunner trailer in the classifieds. All new in 2013 completely rebuilt.

A Manning all welded aluminum. We want to do more coastal trips and a steel trailer does not last long dunking it in salt. Since I re-built the trailer I have came inland enough so it's fresh water we launch at. With an aluminum trailer I can take some weekend trips to Charleston and not worry about the trailer.

You will love it. That is what i put under mine. Did you add a drive guard? If you have extension boxes make sure you tell them or if you plan on adding them so the drive guards wont get in the way. Great folks to deal with too. Congrats on the new purchase.

1) Does the drive guard stick further out in the back than the swim platform? If so how much?
2) Have you ever been on a ramp that you felt uncomfortable loading with the drive guard? Thinking maybe the boat would hit the channels?
3) Do you have 15" or 16" wheels?
4) Have you scrubs the rear of the drive guard on incline, like when the truck is going up a hill and the trailer is making the transition from the flat to the hill?

I'm trying to decide whether to get a drive guard or not. Maybe you can help.
1) Does the drive guard stick further out in the back than the swim platform? If so how much?
2) Have you ever been on a ramp that you felt uncomfortable loading with the drive guard? Thinking maybe the boat would hit the channels?
3) Do you have 15" or 16" wheels?
4) Have you scrubs the rear of the drive guard on incline, like when the truck is going up a hill and the trailer is making the transition from the flat to the hill?

I have only had one issue with the guard getting caught in the mud on a silted in ramp. The guard swings 270 degrees so it is out of the way. I do not power onto my trailer.
I have 16"wheels the only way to go in my opinion. Much better ride control and better options with tires. Less chance for over heating as well.
So far i have never drug the back of the trailer when encountering different grades.
It did protect my boat when i was rear ended by an uninsured motorist. Give me a shout if you have any more questions.
