Handling was good, but blew out in turns that felt bad. As if bow rolled or fell over when blew out! Freaky...
Slip was @9.20!! Very efficient even with 3 blades

I ended up with 24p b1, need to lab or add some cup, but handles a lot better!

CONGRATS!! Send some more pics!
He's got Stelling boxes and 500efi's with Prochargers. They did raise the X in 02 thats when most twins went to 4 blade bravo's

You didn't think to have a survey done on it prior to driving to Ft Worth? That boat is 13yrs old easily risk of rot in it.

Coop, I did the same thing about 14 years ago drove about the same 12 hours to the finger lakes area of NY to look at a 32 skater twin Merc outboards. The add made it sound like new. well long story short I pulled in to the marina and drove past the piece of S$it on a trailer that had four out of six flat tires, standing water in the cockpit, torn up seats, my son and I had lunch at the marina, filled the corvette's gas tank and drove back home non stop, and ordered a new boat from Peter. I often wonder how people buy stuff site unseen? better you found out before you hooked it up and towed it home. keep looking you will find what you want.

Sorry don't have all the stock speed memorized that well. There are many others on here like Irish etc that know more about Baja's.

I do know that my 33' Outlaw is an amazing boat that I am super proud of and enjoy running. It would make someone a very happy boater! Open to offers.

Sucks to hear about your luck. I think a lot of us have been in your shoes. Keep searching and you will find a sweet boat. At least you are on the right track with a 33 or 36
