Would ya'll attempt to do this in the boat or pull the engines?? Going to be a PIA either way...On one hand I would like to clean and inspect the bilge area but.......

Did my 36 Outlaw in the boat. Was not that big of a deal. Would do it that way again.

I did springs and lifters in my 29 in the boat.

It's really not that big of a deal.


I would strongly consider changing the lifters while your doing the springs in those era engines.

When the springs couldnt keep the roller on the cam, the needles in lifters would get pounded,
axles would come out and once the roller is gone, you have a big mess.

I also have to replace the drive indicator cables....so maybe pull them...
