Default 98' 33 outlaw, operation "no more pink"

Ok, pink is good.. Depending on what your talking about!! I got a great deal on my boat with NEW motors with only 12 hrs.. Yes, the color, I think had a lot to do with it as well as the owner who also got a deal and is not your typical power boater. He wanted a pool for his new house.

Any way, in wanting to change it up and I would consider myself pretty mechanical inclined and handy in general. My first thread I started about changing graphics leaned toward a wrap.. The more I read, seemed high maintenance and would cost around 3k.

I tried to cover up my green stripe that ran to the bow, but the white vinyl didn't match too well and green showed thru. So I decided to just change up my colors!, using "offshoreexcursion" as my critic, we ended up going from dark teal, lt green and pink to black, dark teal and silver!! I think it turned out pretty good for a budget job!! My interior and sun pad are dark teal, so I kept the teal, oh and I just added a dark teal Bimini.

With "YouTube" as my friend, "how to", this is what I did!! I like it, what do you think???

Interior had been changed within last cpl years. Vinyl is in great shape and very little pink and lt green. Mostly dark teal.. Only a lil pink and lt green in back of bolsters. Has lt green and dark teal on back of bench that I will get recovered next winter. Cabin is all white with dark teal carpet. Oh, already changed cup holders to teal anodized!

Might get a white steering wheel??

See pink almost hidden. Bolster seat only has teal. Oh and the green on the headrest came out. The dealer was the first to leave boat outside as opposed to boatel (as the dealer called it.. Boat hotel) and the cover bled.. It came out easy enough.

Teal on sun pad should look pretty good as I ran the teal up above rub rail. Also changing swim platform to black!

Wow, the color change, and taking the pattern above the trim line made your boat pop! It looks much better.

Looks good. A buddy with a '95 322 that had those same colors had a vinyl decal installed over his pink strip. He also used vinyl spray paint to get rid of the pink inside. Was kinda skeptcle on how that was going to turn out. But even knowing it, you gotta look for the hard to spray spots in order to tell he painted those interior pieces. And amazingly, it's held up for yrs.
