The Baja rub rail supplier in 88' & 89' for just the hard vinyl style with exposed screws: http://www.buecomp.com/

I built my personal 1989 226 Sport with one continous 58' Black piece that was special run and rolled up in 8' DIA. Only had one seam at the center rear of the boat! I forget if I had to go and pick it up though????

spoke to Alan as well good guy would deal with him if he had what I need ...
It seems that the taco v213670- is close bur no cigar... I have a guy local who repaired my other 280 about 10-12 years ago right before I bought it.He put a piece of rub rail on it . He came over today and we took close look at the sample that Taco sent me and its not a match its close but not a match..
He says he might have the piece I need ,hes going to look and call me Friday.
So Im back here asking if anyone that is changing the rail wants to give me a piece of the old in excellent shape maybe 8 to 12 feet long or anyone parting a 280 has good rail they can ship ill take it .I ll need photos to verify that it is the match of course but need to get this job done ASAP

Thanks for any help.

If you can, post up a picture. Back when I first started working for Tiara Yachts I worked in Heat Bending. I bent rubrail, sailtrack, companionway doors, etc. I might recognize your style.
P.S.- Wow. 58' feet is one long stick ( That's what she said). Are std. stock from Taco is 38 feet.

I went with this place

http://www.barbourcorp.com/

If you only want the plastic they can ship it, it's about a 3' dia roll. You can see it on the ground in one of my pictures. I don't remember what I paid but it was reasonable!
