Default Baja 232 Carpet

Anybody know where I could find purple carpet for 232 islander or possibly have NOS of the piece needed. Looking for the cockpit cover piece, Did the 232 have carpet piece in the bow for open models?

Just picked the boat up yesterday, Seller said he never did have carpet for it? After returning home from a 14 hr round trip.... boat does not even have the snaps for the carpet. Easy fix if I find the carpet.

The 232 Islander never did have a carpet runner for the bow area from the factory. I think we have a 232 Islander cockpit carpet, but I think it is Red. I should be able to order a factory carpet from the same supplier that Baja used when your boat was built if you need one.

I believe it was an option from the factory. My 232 has removable cockpit carpet, but it does not snap in. If you install the snaps be careful; the gelcoat likes to chip and crack. I'd recommend just getting the good rubber backed marine stuff and putting it in loose.

Thanks for the input, I think since I have no snaps for the carpet and has been that way since 01, not worry about it for now.

This is the layout drawing for the Bolster option. Many early 232 Islanders have the fiberglass seat box cutout rather than the Aero bolster option.

If you don't have snaps on carpet on the islander I don't think you'll have carpet for long, it would blow right out.

Thanks, I have the bolsters. This will be great to keep on file.
