Default New Baja - Thoughts on Prices?

I am in the market for a new boat. I found a nice baja on ebay but I need some help from you guys.

What would a reasonable price be to offer this guy to complete the sale? He told me he finally found another boat and needs to get rid of this one.

Is this boat a slug with the 320hp motor?

Is there anything I need to watch out for in these 23 outlaws?

on the trailer but not on water, 6.2 377 stroker motor, doubt it would run 60, but its clean and seems to be priced well, I cant help on price, look around and compare

this is tested with a 496, so Im thinking a least 5mph slower with a 377

Baja 23 Outlaw Test Result Highlights

•Top speed for the Baja 23 Outlaw is 62.4 mph (100.4 kph), burning 32.0 gallons per hour (gph) or 121.12 liters per hour (lph).

•Best cruise for the Baja 23 Outlaw is 27.8 mph (44.7 kph), and the boat gets 3.48 miles per gallon (mpg) or 1.48 kilometers per liter (kpl), giving the boat a cruising range of 250 miles (402.34 kilometers).

•Tested power is 1 x 375-hp MerCruiser 496 MAG.

Good looking boat with the anniversary graphics. I have yet to see my 232 hit 60 with the 6.2. 57.5 GPS is the best yet.

That is a great deal for an 06' in perspective I sold my 2001 BAJA H2X 25' same motor for 20k and it didn't have half the upgrades yours has like the Corsa exhaust, trim tabs, and bolsters. My motor was a 2000 model so first generation basically the same thing it's a 377 stroker. I was overall very happy with the setup and I will still swear despite the haters that I had it up to 72 one time, right after a tune up. Now I don't know if maybe the rev limiter malfunctioned and allowed more RPM but the thing was fast. Here is a video my brother took this is a fly by at low 60's and this was also running on 6 cylinders as I found out soon after I had two dead cylinders due to bent valves after sucking in water thanks to the great mercury riser setup on these early models. In my opinion its a good deal, low hours, clean, great boat to get into the sport!

Pro's: Sounds good, decent speed, great on gas, easy to work on.

Con's: NO performace mods without spending BIG money.

Here is a video my brother took of a fly by I was pushing an old Mercury Vengeance prop at the time.

Down fall.... it's only 23' long. That will leave you will footites. It will start at 2, then it will grow to 3 maybe 4, Then you will say F**k it, and will have 7 footites minimal!!!

This will happen with in the first 2 years of ownersip.

Then you will start another thread " Bought a bigger boat, NEED TO SELL current Baja..."
