Baja's standard trim-tab set-up is made by "Insta-Trim."
They also make the guage, I believe, as it's labeled with their name.

WWHHHOOOOAAAAA....Hold up there. HEAVILL consider a mechanical guage. I don't know if you can run one on the Bennet (InstaTrim) set up, but if you can, it's a no brainer if you ask me. I ahve had nothing but trouble with the electric LED guage, and have heard alot about others as well. My .02 Good luck, A4

Mechanical is definately the way to go...But the difference in price speaks for itself. It may not be a concern for some, but it would be the first stumbling block in my opinion. The led guages are a dime a dozen and certainly have their problems. Knock on wood, I've never had any.

I'm not too worried about the price of mechanical indicators, I'm more worried about fitting them on the dash.
You can see from this picture that the helm on the Hammer is pretty cramped as it is.
There's a perfect spot for a 2" round trim gauge there, but there's really nowhere to put mechanicals... I'd like to get the Gaffrig narrow 2tabs/1drive indicators, and replace my drive trim gauge (in the main dash panel) with a water pressure gauge... it's just a matter of making it look good.
Any suggestions? Does anyone make mechanical 2" round indicators?

Cool...I know what you mean about space. I installed an in-dash compass and a depth sounder gauge on my hammer and was tight for real estate.
As far as I know, I've never seen a round mechanical trim gauge. I guess the geometry just wouldn't work out.
