Almost any factory colors are going to pale to today's wrap jobs. If you like the interior colors than I wouldn't even sweat the exterior colors as you can customize what you want.

Fwiw - a similar boat with a new wrap and updated interior has has trouble selling here in the SF Bay area for the listed $23k, and even his $20k bottom price.

Not to woried about the interior colors as I can fix most of that as well. I am more worried about the outside. I just dont want a wrap, where I will still see of feel the old decals on the outside. I guess I am just looking on how that whole process would work and/or how it would look.

Then definitely hold out for the one you want and makes your mojo flow when you look at it.

I think this boat is actually a 272 Baja Boss. I am actually starting to like this boat. I am not worried so much anymore about the stripes as I am starting to get it in my head that I will customize it a bit. Just waiting for the guy to send me more pics of the inside and bilge. He went on vacation for a week.

Anyone one know why the bilge blower would not be working in this 1999 272 that I am looking at buying. The owner tells me the light is on at the switch, but it does not work? What are the possible issues as to why this is not working? He said at the price I am getting the boat at he feels he is not going to fix it. Apparently that is the only thing wrong with the boat.

yep yep!! I got an awesome deal on my boat, partly b/c of the color. I bought my 33 with 12 hours on new motors for under 40k which was the same price as the 29ols were running!! It was some work.. about 12 hours involved in changing graphics and a lot more in trying to come up with the colors and plan on what to do.

Also what is the deal with the floors and stringers rotting on baja boats. This is a 99, but I have been reading some stories of people saying the floors were rotted and transomes were rotted because are things not being sealed right from the factor, especially around the trim tabs.

Get a survey!! I had a 99 25ol and now a 98 33ol and both are solid!! Depends on previous owners.

I bought my first from shogren and 2nd from guy in va that didnt use it. Stayed in boat-tel dry docked when not in use.
